Shindagger is 10 acres of land in Hueco Mt. Estates, overlooking Hueco Tanks State Natural Area in Texas. Hueco Tanks is a premier bouldering area attracting climbers from all over the world. In March of 2006, Shindagger was purchased by climber Andy Klier.A work in progress, Shindagger is a ground up offgrid project. No concrete has been used in the construction of the buildings. No power drop is being used from the city electric company. Anyone who stays on Shindagger shits in a bucket and flushes with peat moss. In November of 2010, Shindagger Bouldering Gear was founded, a climbing gear outfitter based out of Hueco Tanks, TX. Shindagger Gear sells items like shoes, apparel, chalk, tape, brushes and crashpads. The website store operates year-round, shipping items via UPS.
